1 John 4:8-10 ⁸ He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. ⁹ In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

You see this is what love is all about. God gave up something very precious to him and Jesus accepted this fate willing all in the name of love.

Daily Reading

1 Corinthians 13:13 ¹³ And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

All of Christianity hinges on true love and Gods words teaches us that Love is the most important thing we should have in our lives.

Colossians 3: ¹² Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; ¹³ bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

This is very important list of what is Christian should have in their lives. But look at verse ¹⁴ But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

Love is at the top of the list. Love is like mortar for bricks Love binds each Christian together so that they can strong in the Lord.
