The Lord's Day 5/17/2009 we at Chaffee Rd Church of Christ started our gospel meetng with Brother Larry Acuff. What a wonderful speaker. He has preached the gospel for over 47 years. One of the things he talked about and was so very good is when we go on vacation and we put God in the back ground by not going to church on Sunday night and Wednesday night. Some one might say if you are not home you are not under the elders of where you are, but we are still God's people and we should want to be at services to keep building our faith. We have three more nights with Brother Larry Acuff and I am looking foward to being there to hear him teach . This was only a small point that was covered but was so very good I had to comment on.
